On many occasions my photos are almost the same as the photographer who originally took the shot because I'd be using the same lighting and angle as the photographer's. This way I get to see what they see. Sometimes the shots are almost the same as the one that eventually appear on a magazine. This also helps me determine what is good or acceptable to them is also good for me. More often than not, I prefer to have my own shots done rather than wait for my copy which can take from days to months depending on who I'm working with. In the end, it's the final product that counts.
